A Special Australia Day

AHHHH!!! This will be the the third time I have typed this post my internet is playing up...... Today was my Godson Kynan's 1st Birthday he is the little cutie pie with the big B'day badge on in the pics above he had a fun time and loved his pressies especially the bike he is sitting on. His party was at Nelsons Bay the park that we were at leads down to the beach so the kids had a great time and got to go swimming, I am a chicken the water was too cold for me I took lots of photos instead, my husband Paul was the luck one who got to swim, our daughter Jessie takes after me and preferred to collect sea shells instead.

Elisha and Grahame (Kynan's mummy & daddy) were pretty lucky it was raining when the party first started and it look as though we might have to relocate but it cleared up and came out quite hot.

I can't wait to do some LO's with all the photo's I took and Kynan got a present that came in a plain round box, which I have already claimed so I can scrap it for him into a treasure box. Elisha doesn't scrap but I am still working on it.LOL

Today was a good day for Kynan but it was also a good catch up today we have all been friends since School and always talk on the phone, sms or email lots but like most people between kids, work and life in general we are flat out and never get to actually get together as much as we like.

Well that is it for me I am off to bed we are going to Morpeth for the day tomorrow it is one of my daughter's favourite places to visit their is a tea set there that she really want.... I should mention that she collects tea sets and tea cups her collection is quite cute actually it ranges from miniture to normal sized...That gives me an idea for a LO.......

Clever Me...

Well maybe not that clever I have been playing around with my blog and shop site and put a slide show on each, I think I will leave it on the blog that was the easy one but I think I will take it off the shop site if anyone has an option on how it looks please let me know. It was a bit harder to put the shop one on but I am earning how to go into the back end and change the appearance of things and add links.

I was actually pretty proud of myself the other day I finally got around to joining my shop site on a few of the Top 50 sites, once you join you have to add their code into you home page to create a link (yeah right) so I contacted my webmaster but was told it would be an additional cost so I figured here goes nothing and played around with the site and yeah!!!! I done it.....Okay so they are not in a nice neat little line instead they are in a row but hey I done it..... When I have more time I will figure out how to put them in a row.. So I know that for all you experts out there this probably isn't a big deal but still I was very proud of myself.

Today we are having yet another stay at home day my daughter (Jessie) and I are going to give her room a big clean ...she is a collector.....it drives me insane she has been like it since she was a little girl she keeps everything the soaps from our motel room we stayed in the other weekend, train tickets, envelopes you name it she collects it. So today is the big clean out day before she starts back at school. This morning she lost her new silver jewellery box which she insisted she had sat on the bedside table and someone must have moved it after lots of looking and pulling out hat boxes, bags and looking in draws we discovered it in the wardrobe in her new pink box. What a surprise!!!!!!! Hence she is having a clean out.

Jacob thinks the clean out is great as he likes all the PRESENTS (nic nac toys still in the packet unopened) his big sister is giving him so he is most happy.

Well I had better go and get back to it, tomorrow we are going to Nelsons Bay for the day for my Godson 1st Birthday very exciting we were meant to be going for the weekend but couldn't get accommodation, I suppose that is what happens when you leave it to the last minute.

Cheeky

This is my very cute little boy Jaocb as you can see from the photos he is also very cheeky, he was going stir crazy yesterday not being able to play outside all day it was just too HOT. So we thought we would make some cookies and scones with his big sister Jess, we had lots of fun and made lots of mess.

Today we are having a lazy day and it is nice, I think it is the first Sunday that we haven't had some thing on so I am planning on adding some more products to the site and catching up on the ironing and if I am luck I just might get some time to scrapbook.

Finally....

Okay so I have finally started to get my blog happening, after a lot of experimenting and still getting use to the whole adding pictures thing......I am finally up an running so to speak.

We haven't stopped these school hols, it has been busy, busy, busy! Hopefully things will start to slow down soon I have almost finished loading every thing on to the shop website (yeah) and have finished setting up the shop at home. Which means I can actually start to scrapbook again for a little while my scrapbooking/shop area looked like a disaster area.

That's it for now Jacob is having a sleep so I am going to try and get more done on the website whilst I have a moment of peace, He is like a little energizer bunny he never stops.
