Weekend Away

We had a great weekend away at Kiama and Jamberoo Water Fun Park there was about 59 of us is was lots of fun, sadly I took 2 photos all weekend and they weren't very good ones. The funny part is that there were 4 scrapbooker's in our group and all we done all day was say "I wish I had my camera" there were so many great photo op's. But being a fun park it was a little hard to swim go on rides and take photo's.

My kids had the best time especially Jacob he loved the little kids slide, he was so cute he keep go down the slide on his tummy so all you could see was these cute little legs and bum come down the
slide. Jessie had a great time she loved the wave pool probably cause she got to sit in the float while I got to swim...LOL....the kids were totally worn out when we got back to the bunk house or cubby house as Jacob called it, poor Jessie had a really bad headache and went to bed early.

Okay it is a quick post as I am still buggered.

Lots of Exciting Things

I have lots of exciting news but be far the most exciting is the Scrappers Weekend Retreat I have been so excited about organising this it is lots of fun and if you haven't read the forum yet Kim Archer and Jen Hall will be teaching classes, soooo exciting and even better Jen is going to be staying with us for the weekend.......yeah!!!! I can't wait to see the projects they are going to be teaching... don't worry I will make sure you all get a sneek peek!

I am looking forward to the DT Competition which starts in a couple of weeks, this should be very interesting I can't wait to see some of the entries and have a new DT member, I have been putting together the list of projects that entrants need to complete I have tried to keep it fun.

The next exciting news is that we are going to be at the Craftalive expo, we will be hosting some workshops which should be lots of fun!! I have been trying to think up projects, Julie has come up with the most cutest workshop...it will be available via an online class after the expo...What can I say she is a clever little Chicky...

I think that about covers it, apart from that life has been very boring...Jessie loves being back at school her teacher is really nice, she has decided that she is not doing sport this year and that her and I are going to walk every afternoon instead. we still haven't been yet!!! But we are going to start next week. I almost forgot! We head off to Kiama next weekend to Jamberoo Water Park there is a huge group of us going so the kids will have a great time and the big kids too. So I will have lots of FUN PICS.. Do you know what I most excited about it the Krispy Kreme Doughnut stop on the way I am so addicted to these things that I avoid them like the plague....but when you driving straight past you just have to stop..LOL..

We went out to Morpeth today, as I have mentioned before it is Jessie's favourite place in the word because of all the nic nac shops, my DH and I promised her we would take her out there to get a miniature teapot to add to her collection. And last but not least I was very impressed with by DH this year he surprised me for Valentine's Day with a dozen red roses and white roses for Jessie. It was very sweet!

New Things!!!

Okay so that past couple of weeks have been of the wall! I have been experimenting with the shop site and forums and discovering how so do all these new things such as links, images and blinkies it is all pretty exciting but it takes a while for me to bugger around with it but I think I am starting to get the hang of it. I have been trying to organise crop days and the retreat it has been just non stop and in between that I have have alot go on at my work.aaaaahhhhh.....

But I am getting there and I am starting to feel more organised which is a good thing, I purchased the new windows vista package through the week it is really good I had a few hiccups to start with but it is starting to run smoothly now.

But by for the most exciting new thing is that I am getting my Pink Martini supplies in the week yeah! I can't wait they are soooo groovy, I even had to get help picking them out I just wanted to get everything!!!!!! I cant wait to do a project with them I have been very slack lately and haven't done any scrapbooking I am just lucky I have Julie she makes up for me being soooo slack. I am hoping that over the next couple of weeks things will slow down so I will have more time to scrap and get organised for the March DT competition.

Okay I thing I have raved on enough for one night, I need to get some sleep I am off to Sydney tomorrow.
